Quality policy

The company is aware that the quality of its products and services has a decisive influence on its image and therefore its position on the market. Therefore considers it absolutely necessary to establish and follow a coherent quality strategy:

• with an external context (economic, social, technological, market, etc ...) that is increasingly competitive, globalised, multicultural and characterized by sudden changes in the economic situation, in the needs and in the technological solutions that allow them to be satisfied;
• with an internal context (values, culture, knowledge, skills, etc ... of the employees) that is increasingly multicultural and characterized by the specialization and deconstruction of know-how

and therefore based on the following fundamental principles:

• The quality of the products and services with which the company reaches its customers must always be that promised and expected by the customer, compliant with the agreed specifications, laws and regulations in force.
• To achieve a high quality index, the company intends to maintain constant control of all phases of its industrial process.
• To pursue these objectives, the company deems it essential to adhere to the ISO 9000 series standards, involving all functions and all collaborators (employees and non-employees), in order to obtain constant improvement of its Quality system, in line with the objectives indicated annually by the Management. The implementation of the program will be constantly supported and encouraged by top management, who will provide the resources necessary for its installation and continuous improvement.
• The quality system must be periodically reviewed and updated with the corrective and preventive actions dictated by the experience gained during the company's activity.

The above points only represent the non-limiting basis [R4] for building the company quality system. The company is certain that it can count on the personal participation of all its collaborators to create the most up-to-date company competitiveness tool.

Presentation

Since the early 90s, LAMPLAST has reinforced and renewed its laboratory structure, in order to support both quality assurance and research and devolopment of new compounds.

On one side, these efforts - combined with a strict selection of its suppliers among the most important chemicals producers - allowed LAMPLAST to gain UNI EN ISO 9002 certification in 1997, among the first companies in its sector. The certification has been later update to the current status: ISO 9001:2015

On the other hand, they made possible a significant widening of the products portofolio, with a special focus on self extinguishing and halogen free compounds. The fire resistance of some of these new products has been certified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. for the US and the Canadian markets and other certifications are in progress now.
